Claire Peeters, Secretary
Claire developed a love for food and farming from an early age, growing up in the countryside and becoming a member of the Young Farmers. She spent eight years as Project Manager for Ecoworks, a community urban food and environmental organization in Nottingham, managing a number of projects including the box scheme and café alongside community horticulture and healthy eating projects.
Living in Nottingham, Claire was part of the Management Committee for St Ann’s Allotments, which is the largest, and oldest Victorian detached town gardens in the world. She is also a keen sportswoman, having run the London Marathon, and ridden at the Horse of the Year Show at Wembley.
Claire is Operations Director at the Sustainable Food Trust and brings her knowledge and expertise to her role as Secretary for the Sustainable Food Alliance.
